The Nerve Agent Detector Strip has been specially formulated to detect nerve agents in air, water, and surfaces. The detection strip can determine dangerous concentrations of nerve agents:
- From Vapors in Air (within 5 minutes)
- On contaminated surfaces (within 3 minutes)
- In contaminated water samples (within 3 minutes)
The Nerve Agent Detector Strip has very high sensitivity capable of detecting very low concentrations quickly and easily.
The TraceCheck Nerve Agent Detector strip was formulated to be highly sensitive, detecting both G and V nerve agents down to 20 parts per billion in liquid agents, and detecting below the AEGL-2 standards in vapors.

TraceCheck Nerve Agent Detector Strip is quick and easy to use, simply pop open the plastic tube and remove the inluded buffer tube, which can be used in negative temperature conditions (down to -20°C), and one of the Nerve Agent Detector Strips from the foil pouch. If trying to detect agent in a liquid sample, simply dip the reaction area (white) into the suspect liquid then after sampling touch one side of the test to the other and then keep folded for 3-5 minutes. If attempting to detect vapors in the air, then apply 2-3 drops of the buffer liquid to the reaction area and wave the strip in the air for 5-10 minutes then after sampling touch one side of the test to the other and then keep folded for 3-5 minutes. After the 3-5 minutes, the presence of an agent will be indicted if the reaction area remains white, if the reaction spot is blue, then no agent is present.
