M28 Chemical Detection Training Kit

The M28 Chemical Detection Training Kit is designed to train users to detect and identify nerve agents after an accident or an attack.

The kit is intended to train personnel to detect and identify G- or V- type nerve agents when using the M256A1 field kit.

The M28 simulates the presence, or absence, of nerve agents only. Tests are carried out by following the simple instructions printed on the inside of the box and on the sampler packets.

Nerve agent detection training

Designed for classroom training of members of local governments, police, fire and first responders
to detect chemical agents after an accident or attack. The kit is intended to train personnel to detect and identify G- or V- type nerve agents when using the M256A1 field kit.

The M28 Trainer Kit includes the following:

  • 18 Nerve Agent Sampler-Detectors
  • 18 Blank Sampler-Detectors

Other training kits include the M29, which simulates blister agents only and the M256A1 Trainer which simulates blood, blister and nerve agents.

What’s in the M28 training kit?

The M28 simulates the presence, or absence, of G- or V-type nerve agents only.
Tests are carried out by following the simple instructions printed on
the inside of the box and on sampler packets.

The M28 Trainer Kit includes a corrugated box containing the simulators, one book of
M8 Paper sealed in a plastic bag, 18 individually-wrapped, nerve agent sampler detectors, and 18 individually-wrapped, blank nerve agent sampler detectors.

Other training kits include the M29, which simulates blister agents only, and the
M256A1 Trainer which simulates blood, blister, and nerve agents.
